BEHIND THE LOOK WITH MIRANDA

Today we are talking about Mirandas bridal makeup.

Miranda had the most magical wedding in the Lake District at the stunning Townhead Estate. Her dress was by Sassiholford, her vibe was elegant with a touch of whimsical.

Miranda wanted to opt for a natural classic style of makeup. Detailing on her dress and hair piece along with some beautiful jewellery meant that the makeup needed to be kept fairly minimal to sit in balance with the details.

I chose to go with a natural semi matte finish on the skin, so that when it came to using a beautiful nude shimmer on the eyes it would really pop! We gave the eyes a wow factory with a subtle 3/4 lash. The skin was finished with a warm wash of golden peach blush which sat well with the subtle lilac tones throughout Mirandas bridal party and styling.

Miranda had beautiful natural brows so we kept these fairly natural with minimal product brushed through them. Mirandas lip products were a mix of pillow talk liner and YSL candy glaze balm. This combo created the perfect pink/nude lip that left the lips nourished.

They Key products in Mirandas bridal look:

  • NARS radiant long wear foundation

  • Charlotte tilbury pillow talk liner

  • YSL candy balm glaze

  • Natasha denona I need a nude eye palette

  • Hourglass Radiant lighting palette

I thought the makeup complimented the styling perfectly and Miranda looked and felt beautiful! Her hair was flawlessly created by Charlotte from Hairsoboho.

Mirandas bridal party had natural makeup that complimented their lilac dresses which were from JJsHOUSE. Everything was tied together with gorgeous flowers that had touches of lilac, evergreen and white.

It was a pleasure to offer my stay on service for Miranda in which we touched up the makeup after the ceremony. I also helped during their professional photos ( photos by ailsareevephotography ) which felt so special to be apart of and it was great to get some behind the scenes content!

Congratulations Miranda!
