✨ Getting to know me… beyond the makeup ✨

There’s so much more to me than what you see when I pick up a makeup brush.

For 15 years, horses were a huge part of my life. Riding, caring for them, showing up every day, whatever the weather, whatever mood you were in. Horses taught me discipline, patience and, perhaps most importantly, how to stay calm when things don’t go to plan. Something I carry with me into every wedding morning today. 🤍

For the past three years, I’ve also been creating and selling my own art. Fine art has always been another creative outlet for me, and so much of what I’ve learnt through painting,colour, composition, light, texture and knowing when to stop. naturally translates into the way I approach makeup.

Outside of work, I’m big on taking care of myself. I love moving my body, staying strong and fit, creating nutritious meals and continuously working on myself through self-development. I really believe that feeling good on the inside has a huge impact on how we show up in every other area of our lives.

And then there’s Oatie 🐾🤎

I spend a lot of time outside with my dog, usually surrounded by trees, fields and fresh air. Nature is where I reset, slow down and recharge my creative batteries. It keeps me grounded amongst the busyness of running a business and life in general.

All of these little pieces of me have shaped the artist, business owner and person I am today.
And somehow… we’re celebrating 10 YEARS OF MAKEUP. 🥹✨

10 years of learning, creating, evolving, taking risks, saying yes to opportunities that once felt like a dream and building a career around something I genuinely love.

So here’s to the next chapter. 🤍
